On the 1st of March 2025, the QLD Northside Kids for Christ (KFC) had their first catechism session for the year as part of Couples for Christ Australia’s (CFCA) Northside Chapter General Prayer Meeting (GPM). SFCA Queensland recently hosted an enriching Singles Weekend Retreat (SWR) at Camp Somerset.

The servant leaders of the Handmaids of the Lord in Qld made their way to the Passionist Community in Oxley to spend a full day retreat with our spiritual adviser, Fr. Ray Sanchez. Fr. Ray gave us insights on healthy habits in service leadership and how to thrive as a leader. The group also listened to Dr. Sue Edwards’ take on women’s tendencies when confronted with conflict and how to practice biblical peacemaking.
