2025 HOLD LOCAL Conference SA

Being called into a new life with Christ and becoming a new creation is truly something to behold.  We need to become pilgrims  of hope and light for the world to see.

One the weekend of 17-18 May the Holy Spirit filled a room at Mawson Lakes Hotel along with about 60 or so participants,

I was truly touched by this weekend.  The Holy Spirit filled my heart – it was overflowing with love and mercy, and I felt the Lord was truly please with us. During worship I saw an image of the Lord watching over us. His arms outstretched and protecting us, embracing us and then pouring out the Holy Spiriting upon each and everyone on the room.  And the words “Pour out your grace upon this place” was like an overflow of grace and peace filling the room and it remind me how much this world needs this.  My heart was exploding with the Love and Peace of our Lord.  

We need to be pilgrims of hope that the world so desperately needs.  And to begin this we need to avail of the beautiful gift of Reconciliation.  This is such a gift that the Lord has given us.  Let us accept this gift of grace and mercy the Lord wants us to have.  We cannot be true pilgrims of hope if we are not reconciled with our Lord.  Reconciled in his love.  Avail of this gift regularly so we can be washed clean and become a new creating in Christ.  Be every drawn closer to our Lord. Let him embrace us. Let us be called to this new life in Christ.  Let us be transformed.  Are you ready to become these pilgrims of hope for our world that is so desperate to see us, to see the Lord.  Let us begin today.

As I am writing this, I have an image in my mind of all the participants with smiles on the faces and smiles in their heats and over them I see the Lords face with smiles and tears of joy and next to him our Mamma Mary looking at us with joy.

Thank you to everyone for making this weekend what it was. I won’t go and name everyone.  But the one I do want to thank is our Lord Jesus Christ because without him we are nothing.  May God be praised and see you all In Launceston, Tas in 2026.
