Family Ministries
One of the pillars of CFCA

CFCA is a “womb to tomb” ministry as it caters for all members of the family.
Through its programs and activities, it provides:
-
continuity in spiritual formation and pastoral support as they transition from one ministry to another;
-
assurance of a familiar environment and community culture for the full length of one’s earthly life; and
-
continued growth in their relationship with the Lord and in their pursuit of life in holiness.

The National Family Ministries Core Group
In 2017, the National Family Ministries Core Group (Core Group) was established. The role of the NFMCG is to ensure the peace, order and good governance of the family ministries in all states.
It covers a range of functional activities including strategic planning, advocacy, representation, and policy development.
The Core Group oversees the performance and delivery of family ministry programs through the assignment of family ministry portfolios. Its focus is at a high level – strategic rather than operational. It sets the overall direction and goals then monitor their implementation and success.
