We’re absolutely thrilled to share that our CFCA Kids For Christ (KFCA) Gift Drive, held on the 20th of October 2024 at St. Catherine's Wishart, QLD, was a smashing success! A massive shout-out to our awesome CFCA Youth For Christ (YFCA) service team for all their hard work, energy, and heart. You guys totally rocked it!

The day was filled with fun, laughter, and seriously good vibes. We kicked things off with an amazing praise and worship session led by our YFC Music Ministry. Their uplifting tunes connected everyone and reminded us of the joy of coming together in God’s name. It wasn’t just about the gifts—it was about celebrating as one big, happy community.

After worship, we took a moment to chat about what it means to give and share. Our YFCs prepared a meaningful talk about how generosity isn’t just about things—it’s about sharing love, kindness, and our time with others. They also shared a bit of background about our beneficiaries: Hospicio de San Jose (Philippines), Our Lady of Perpetual Help Children's Home (Philippines), and Hummingbird House (Queensland, Australia). The gifts that were collected consisted of various items such as clothes, shoes, toys, books, and cash donations, all of which were equally distributed across different age groups.

Even the smallest acts of kindness can make the biggest difference! We were all inspired by Hebrews 13:16: “And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased.”

Of course, the kids had an absolute blast with all the games prepared by our YFC service team. They enjoyed charades and laughed as they tried to guess each other’s clues. The games weren’t just fun—they were a wonderful way to build friendships and bring everyone closer together.

One of the most heartwarming moments of the day was when the kids wrote beautiful letters and created drawings to include in the donated gift boxes. Each note was filled with love, hope, and sweet messages for the lucky recipients. It was such a touching way to connect the givers and receivers in a truly meaningful way.

Overall, the gift drive made our KFCs feel blessed by the Lord to be able to do such meaningful things. Their experience will stay with them as they grow, teaching them that sharing is always a blessing.
