The Kids for Christ Australia (KFCA–VIC) successfully conducted its 2025 Couple Coordinators’ Training on 16 November 2025, hosted by Sis Faye and Bro Michael Santos, KFCA North Coordinators. The session opened with a spirit-filled praise and worship led by Sis Faye Santos together with the West 2 Music Ministry, setting an uplifting and joyful tone for the afternoon. The first talk was delivered by our Area Head – VIC FM, Bro Mario Nazareno, who highlighted KFCA’s mission and its guiding 4F Principles—Fun, Friendship, Faith, and Freedom. He also revisited KFCA’s core philosophy, clarified what KFCA is and is not, and reflected on the covenant that all members are called to live out. This was followed by a presentation from our National FM Director, Bro Bobby Matthew, who provided an insightful overview of KFCA’s organisational structure. He emphasized that the primary responsibility for nurturing a child’s faith rests with the parents, while KFCA serves as a supportive partner to both the family and the chapter. He also offered a brief introduction to child safeguarding policies and standards. Former KFCA Victoria Overall Coordinator Sis Eva Olivar then shared the roles and responsibilities of KFCA coordinators. She likened the service to an endurance journey—one that requires perseverance, focus, trust in the Lord, and a steadfast heart when facing challenges. Her session concluded with a servant’s song and a prayer over the newly appointed coordinators stepping into their new roles. Moreover, Bro Greg and Sis Maybelle Ifurung, our KFCA Overall VIC Coordinators and also the Southwest Chapter Coordinators, shared key insights from the KFCA Family Ministry Workshop and Planning Meeting held in Adelaide on 17–19 October 2025. A key highlight was the sharing from the recent Family Ministry Workshop in Adelaide, where leaders reflected on the strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities of KFCA and presented plans for 2026—including national activities and upcoming teaching topics which will be implemented across all states: • KFCA Kick-Off • Parent & Children’s Camp • Sports Day Gift Drive Planned teaching topics for 2026 include: • March: Lenten Activity • May: The Life of the Saints • July: The Lord’s Prayer • October: How to Pray the Rosary • December: Love & Compassion The group also discussed the Transition Program from KFCA to YFCA, followed by a Q&A session. We also prayed over and officially welcomed our new coordinators from: West 1 – Sis Jo & Bro Jeff Abrenica West 2 – Bro McKuen & Sis Aireen Landicho North – Bro Marius & Sis Joyce Sidiangco A heartfelt thank you to our outgoing coordinators for their faithful service. A fruitful and spirit-filled afternoon for KFCA! All for God’s glory.
