CFCA HOLD VALENTINE’s COCKTAIL DINNER DANCE & PAGEANT

Featuring: SUPER GRANDMA & SUPER COUPLE PAGEANT 2026

We did it again in 2026! Praise God!

In 2024, we had “Pamper Your Mum” fundraising event which featured

Super Mum Pageant. It was a huge success as it raised funds of about

$9,000 for the poor and victims of Domestic Violence.

Last 14 th Feb 2026, CFCA HOLD sponsored a Valentine’s Cocktail

Dinner Dance & Pageant. This year we had our Super Grandma and

Super Couple Pageants. The main objective of the fundraiser was to get

willing candidates to seek donations from anyone they knew so that the

community could support 2 very worthy charities Apostolic of St John

in Cebu Philippines ( nuns serving marginalised children & families) and

Sr Janet Mead’s Adelaide Day Centre for Homeless Persons.

It was truly a spectacular night! The food, the mocktail drinks, the

dessert ( halo-halo!), the live band, the lively emcees, raffles, the music,

the dancing , the pageant – they are perfect combination for a wonderful,

enjoyable event!

The highlight of the night was the presentation/awarding of our Super

Grandma & Super Candidates.

Super Grandma Candidates:

1. Viluzminda (Babes) Bascombe – handmaid from Lucita Montediorisio’s Household,

received the Congeniality Award

2. Vicky Cairnduff – a handmaid from Lucy Duka’s Household, received the Most

Elegant Award

3. Lorna Leonidas – a handmaid from Anne Englefield’s Household, crowned as Super

Grandma 2026 and received a Legacy Faith Award

4. Vilma Faustorilla – a CFCA wife from Local Area Council Household, received the

Most Inspiring Grandma Award

Super Couple Candidates:

1. Domenic and Anna Maria Cavuoto – couple from Middeldorp Unit, received the Most

Faithful Couple Award

2. John and Guida Vieira – couple Cedamon Unit , crowned Super Couple 2026 &

received the Best Love Story Award

3. Brian and Auring Brandt – couple Malagar Unit, received the Most Enduring Couple

Award

4. Red and Jen Babano – couple from Fermin Unit , received the Most Inspiring Couple

Award

All these candidates did an amazing job raising $9,074 on their own

merits. About $1,000 raised from the ticket sales raising a grand total

of $10,074. This amount exceeded what was raised in 2024. Obviously,

the efforts of the 12 candidates along with the support of their

households, units, families, friends & workmates had greatly contributed

to raising this amount. God is definitely with us! He allowed this event to

happen because He loves the poor and the homeless. It is an honour to

be used by God for His purpose and glory!
