2024 National Conference FAQ

Updated: Jan 10

Please check back on these FAQs which will be updated as more information becomes available.

What are the conference dates and venue?

The conference proper starts at 5pm on Friday the 12th of April and ends 2pm (times might be subject to slight changes) on Sunday the 14th. It will be held at the Grand Ballroom of the Liverpool Catholic Club, 424-458 Hoxton Park Road, Prestons NSW 2170.

Where do I get the latest information about the national conference?

Please go to the official CFCA website (https://www.cfcaustralia.org) or the CFCA Facebook . (https://www.facebook.com/groups/cfcaustralia).

How much is the registration fee?

The rates are $200 for NSW, and $180 for interstate delegates in consideration of the travel expenses they will incur. Children: adult rates for over 18yo, $125 for 13-18yo, $100 for 5-12yo and free for below 5yo. There is no early bird discount.

How do I register for the national conference?

Register here by clicking on this link: Registration Form

Registration is per family or individual: the system will not allow group registrations (like a whole household) to ensure that each registrant’s details are accurately captured. You have the option to save your data and continue your registration at a later time. Places are limited per venue restrictions so please register early.

Payment can be made by credit card or bank deposit. If paying by credit card, you will be transacting directly on the Stripe payment portal.

If paying by bank transfer,

  • Find your registration confirmation email.

  • Go towards the end of the email and look for the unique reference number (format: ) that has been generated for you. It looks like "NATCON2024-99999-Lastname".

  • Use that reference number when you make your bank transfer. That will ensure the Registration Committee has your payment on record.

Please note that you are officially registered only after your conference fee has been received by the registration committee.

If registering for someone else, please ensure that their names and contact details are correctly entered.

Reminders will be sent out prior to the conference in case members have completed the registration form and forgotten to remit their registration fees.

If you require assistance with online registration, please let your household head know, or contact the Conference Registration Committee at natcon24.regocon@gmail.com.

Is there a discount if I attend only Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th?

A flat rate applies as it is a challenge to get around the catering, logistics and facilities/services needs of the conference. We hope delegates are able to join the conference in its entirety and that the talks and activities benefit our community..

When is the registration deadline?

Registrations will close on 15 March 2024. It is also possible for registrations to close earlier than March 15th if the venue capacity of 550 adults is reached.

Are walk-ins allowed?

Unfortunately they are not, as CFCA would already have submitted the headcount and paid for venue hire and catering before the conference.

Who can I contact if I have a question or concern?

What are the accommodation options?

You have the option to request for billeting at the time of registration or make your own reservation at your preferred accommodation.
