2025 CFCA Songwriting Competition Winners

In 2010, CFCA launched its first songwriting competition focusing on that year’s theme with the slogan, “Go! Witness! Proclaim!”.  Three of the songs from that particular competition are included in our Celebrate Song Book.  They are Go! Witness! Proclaim! by Bro Joel D’Bayan from WA, Go! Witness! Proclaim! by Bro Roger Neri from NSW and  Come Build the House of the Lord by Bro Morie and Sis Evie Balisbisan from NSW.

Fifteen years on, the community  once more initiated a songwriting competition open to all members of CFCA where songs submitted should align with the 2025 theme, “Called to a New Life in Christ”.  Four entries were received and just like in 2010, the winning entry was composed by Bro Joel D’Bayan from WA.

1St  - Joseph D'Bayan – WA

2nd - Elvira Laurente (Dindin) – NSW

3rd : Jun Lorente – NSW & Rino Palmani - QLD
