Spiritual Preparation

As we gather together for our 2026 CFCA National Conference, let us  prepare our hearts, minds and spirit.

“Create in me a clean heart, O God.” (Psalm 51:10)

There will  be an opportunity to avail of the sacrament of reconciliation during the ENCOUNTER Session on Friday night, 17th April. As we have a limited number of priests, not everyone may be accommodated so if you can, we encourage you to already go to confession before the conference

We are blessed that the final weeks leading to the conference is the Holy Week and the first couple of weeks of Easter. Let us together use this holiest time of the year to spiritually prepare ourselves and pray for the conference and each other.

We also invite and encourage you to pray the Novena to the Holy Spirit from the 8th till the 16th of April 2026 via Zoom at 7:30PM Brisbane time.  Here's a link to the novena prayer.

What to Bring

Bring

We are trying to do something new by bringing you a more sustainable conference. To reduce waste, we will not be providing conference kits this year. We encourage you to bring your own, or go fully digital.

Your Conference ID will have a QR code. Scanning this QR code will take you to a mobile-friendly page that has everything you usually get in a kit, such as the Program, talk summaries, activity guides, and other useful information. Most phones also come with notetaking apps.

We recommend that you bring the following:

  • Bible (this also comes in digital format now, e.g. Ascension app)

  • Pen

  • Small notepad

  • State Colour attire for Saturday

  • Praise Parade costumes and props

  • Social Night attire (see above for inspiration)

Our childminding service is provided to support parents so they can fully participate in the sessions, while ensuring that children are well cared for and engaged in a safe space.
